I initially joined Season 6 to support my wife, not expecting any personal benefit since I wasn’t diabetic. However, I soon discovered that the program was just as relevant for me. Having lived with hypertension for over a decade, I learned that I fall under metabolic syndrome and needed lifestyle changes too. The program opened my eyes—especially in understanding carbohydrate intelligence, like how legumes also contain carbs, which changed my eating habits. I lost 7 kilos in just 8–10 weeks after struggling for over a year, which amazed my doctor. Now, I even help others become more aware of their health. This experience proved that the DTLC program is valuable for everyone, not just diabetics, as it empowers us to prevent future health issues and live better lives.

I’ve lived with diabetes for four years, and at my heaviest—119 kg—I faced painful mobility issues and prostate problems. Though I had started exercising on my own, it was joining Season 7 of this program that truly transformed me. The biggest change wasn’t just physical—it was a shift in mindset. Letting go of my past identity as a senior government officer and focusing on myself—on Noah—was a turning point. The program helped me rethink food portions, embrace healthier habits, and commit fully to change. Group support also kept me motivated. By August, my doctor began reducing my diabetes medication. By December, I was completely off it, with improved cholesterol and kidney function. Today, at 63, I feel more energized than ever. Good sleep, nutrition, activity, and supplementation have all played a role. I’m deeply thankful to the doctors and team for helping me reclaim my health and life.
